HT Senior Zack Chatman pinned his opponent from Vestavia in the final match of the dual on Thursday night to give the Huskies a 40-35 win over the Rebels. Vestavia led the match 35-34 leading into the final match, but Chatman's 1st period win sealed the victory for Coach Chris Pike's team.

Earlier in the dual, Gavin Bittle won by pin and Riley Hulwi won by forfeit. Clark Box won his match 8-0 to earn four team points. Bradley Hastings added a 1st period pin as well.

After five straight Vestavia wins, Eli Abney won by pin to sway momentum back towards the Huskies. Deuce Alston then won by pin to score six points for Hewitt-Trussville.

The Huskies will travel to Thompson this weekend for three Region 3 duals.
