A total of 12 Hewitt-Trussville wrestlers will compete in the AHSAA State Tournament next week in Huntsville. Athletes advanced from the AHSAA North Sectional held this weekend at the Birmingham Crossplex. Three HT Girls have qualified for State. Olivia Limbaugh placed 2nd in her class and scored 18 team points. Evelyn Lolley placed 3rd in her class and scored 16 team points. Mallorie Selesky placed 4th in her class and scored 15 team points. 

A total of nine HT Boys qualified for State:
*William Hodgin placed 2nd and scored 20 team points
*Gavin Bittle placed 3rd and scored 19 team points
*Karl Schutz placed 5th and scored 13 team points
*Rivers Harbison placed 5th and scored 15 team points
*Ian Hodgin placed 6th and scored seven team points
*Asher Wiram placed 3rd and scored 20 team points
*Jaxon Jones placed 5th and scored 13 team points
*Trip Cole placed 2nd and scored 21.5 team points
*Braxton Reaves placed 2nd and scored 22.5 team points

The State Tournament will get underway on Thursday in Huntsville.
