The Hewitt-Trussville Wrestling team picked up a 50-24 win at Hoover on Tuesday night in a 7A Region dual. Gavin Bittle opened the night with a pin. Riley Hulwi then won by forfeit. Clark Box won 18-3 to pick up five team points. Ian Hodgin won his match 6-0 to secure more team points for the Huskies.

Will Rivers won by forfeit and Charlie Buttiker pinned his opponent. Deuce Alston, Mason Holloway, and Zack Chatman closed with pins to earn six team points each.

The Huskies are now 3-0 in Region duals and will host Vestavia on Thursday night at Bryant Bank Arena. The match is set to begin at 6pm.
