The Hewitt-Trussville Boys Soccer team opened the 2026 season this week in south Alabama. The Huskies opened the weekend with a 3-1 win over Robertsdale. Brennan Greer scored the first goal off an assist from Logan Colburn. Greer added another goal this time off an assist from Jason Merriweather. Alan Bryant then found Merriweather for the final HT goal.

On Saturday, the Huskies topped Daphne 3-2. Stephen Delfin opened the scoring with an unassisted goal. Brennan Greer then found the back of the net off an assist from Jason Merriweather. Steven Richards then assisted Merriweather for the final HT goal.

The Huskies will visit Fultondale and John Carroll this week.
