Hewitt-Trussville Softball improved to 24-11 overall on the season with a 2-0 win over Hoover on Tuesday night.
Kinley Poe threw just 72 pitches to register the complete game win. Poe had three strikeouts and did not walk a batter. The Huskies tallied two runs in the 4th inning.
Corey Goguts opened the inning with a home run to center field. Later in the inning,
Erin Coleman scored on a Evie Andrew's sacrifice fly.
The Huskies will be at home again on Wednesday night when they host Moody. HT will finish Area play on Thursday night at home against Vestavia.
