Five Hewitt-Trussville Football student-athletes made their college commitments official on December 3 during the NCAA Early Signing Period. The ceremony took place in the HTHS auditorium as family, teammates, and coaches celebrated this special milestone.

HTHS Signees:
• Baasel Al-Absi – University of Tennessee at Martin
• Deuce Alston – University of Kentucky
• Dylan Cope – University of Virginia
• James Kelly – Ohio University
• Will Phillips – Old Dominion University

This senior class leaves behind an impressive legacy, finishing their high school careers with a 33–14 record. The Huskies reached the playoffs every year and made a historic run to the 2023 state semifinals, their first appearance since 1996.
