Former Husky Hunter Osborne knows the importance of giving back to the community that helped shape him.
Hunter recently made a generous donation to support the future of our Hewitt-Trussville youth and varsity football programs. Having grown up playing youth football in Trussville, he wanted to invest in the next generation of players where his own journey began.
A 2023 Hewitt-Trussville graduate, Hunter was a two-time All-State standout for the Huskies before signing with the University of Alabama. He now continues his collegiate career at the University of Arkansas, carrying on the tradition of excellence both on and off the field.
Coach Floyd shared, "We are very appreciative of Hunter's donation to our program. Hunter was a great player for us, but he's an even better person. He was always a great teammate and truly invested in the program, always mentoring the younger guys on the team. We believe youth football plays a very important role in a player's development and love for the game, and Hunter started out playing youth football in Trussville before having a great high school career. He has left a great legacy here in our community. We are proud of Hunter and look forward to him having a great season with the Arkansas Razorbacks."
Thank you, Hunter, for investing in the future of Husky Football and for continuing to represent our community with class. Once a Husky, always a Husky!
