The first game of a busy week was a successful one for the Hewitt-Trussville Girls Basketball team. The Huskies got out to a quick 19-4 lead and cruised to a 51-25 win over Thompson. HT is now 17-11 overall on the season. The Huskies will travel to Hueytown on Tuesday night and will host Clay-Chalkville on Thursday night.
The Huskies had a balanced scoring attack on Monday night with four players scoring in double figures.
Olivia Burton scored 13 points and had three rebounds.
Ryleigh Martin had 12 points and dished out seven assists.
Lauryn Holley had 12 points and four rebounds and
Ashlyn Howard added 11 points and six rebounds.
