The Hewitt-Trussville Girls Basketball team improved to 13-8 overall and 1-1 in 7A Area 6 play with a 71-22 win over Oak Mountain on Tuesday night. Lauryn Holley led the Huskies in scoring as she netted 28 points. Olivia Burton scored 14 points and added two rebounds and three steals. Ryleigh Martin also scored in double figures as she added 10 points. Martin also had a rebound and two steals.

The Huskies will travel to Vestavia for another Area contest on Thursday January 9. Tip-off is set for 3:30pm.
