The Hewitt-Trussville Girls Basketball team made eight shots from beyond the arc Friday night in a 67-42 win over Oak Mountain. Ashlyn Howard recorded a double-double as she scored a game-high 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Ryleigh Martin made five three-point shots and scored 18 points. Lauryn Holley had 15 points, four assists, and six rebounds.

The Huskies will be in action again on Saturday at the Parker Lady Bison MLK Classic. HT will meet Pelham at 11am.

The final Area game of the regular season will be played on Tuesday night as the Huskies welcome Vestavia to Bryant Bank Arena.
