Hewitt-Trussville Wrestling Assistant Coaches Brad Hettich and Scott Robertson were honored as the 2023-2024 Alabama Wrestling Coaches Association 7A Assistant Coaching Staff of the Year.

The Huskies finished the 2023-2024 season in February and finished 3rd at the AHSAA 7A State Tournament. The Huskies won the 7A Region 3 regular season title and advanced to the semifinals in the State Duals.
