A total of 10 Hewitt-Trussville wrestlers qualified for the State Tournament this weekend. The AHSAA North Sectional was held at the Birmingham Crossplex. The AHSAA State Tournament will be held next week in Huntsville. The HT Boys placed 4th out of 16 schools in the team standings.

*Rivers Harbison placed 3rd at 106 and scored 17.5 team points
*Gavin Bittle placed 5th at 113 and scored 12.5 team points
*Riley Hulwi placed 6th at 132 and scored 11 team points
*Bradley Hastings placed 2nd at 138 and scored 22 team points
*Jack Besse placed 3rd at 150 and scored 19 team points
*Charlie Buttiker placed 2nd at 165 and scored 23 team points
*Trip Cole placed 3rd at 175 and scored 19 team points
*Deuce Alston placed 3rd at 190 and scored 17 team points
*Braxton Reaves placed 5th at 215 and scored 16 team points

This is the first year of Girls Wrestling as a sanctioned championship sport. Mallorie Selesky finished 2nd in her class to qualify for state. Selesky earned 16 team points.
