Hewitt-Trussville Girls Soccer defeated Chelsea 1-0 on Tuesday night in a 7A Area 6 match. The Huskies are now 6-5-2 overall on the season and 1-2 in 7A Area 6 play.

Chelsea held possession early in the game, but the Huskies were able to capitalize on a counter attack. Brecken Phillips found Libby Armstrong 20 minutes into the first half. Armstrong placed the ball in the lower ninety to give the Huskies a 1-0 lead. The HT defense was solid the rest of the game and preserved the win.

HT will host Homewood on Thursday night.
