Hewitt-Trussville Soccer honored its seniors on Wednesday night, and both HT teams picked up big wins. The HT Boys defeated Boaz 5-1 to move to 11-4-1 overall on the season.
Parker Briggs kicked off the scoring as he found the back of the net off an assist from
Parker Green.
Legion Gaston then assisted
Parker Green to put the Huskies up 2-0.
Ethan Williamson scored the third Husky goal from Parker Biggs. Green found Briggs again to make the score 4-0. The final Hewitt-Trussville goal was scored by
Parker Green.
The HT Boys will travel to Tennessee next week for the Smoky Mountain Cup.
The Hewitt-Trussville Girls defeated Shades Valley 8-0 on Wednesday night. Senior
Ella Allen had three goals, senior
Lily Burford had two goals, sophomore
Jocelyn Davis had two goals, and junior
Caroline Krayer had one goal. The Huskies improved to 9-3-3 overall on the season. HT will be in action next week at the Southern Coast Cup.
