Hewitt-Trussville Softball improved to 13-1 overall on the season with a 7-1 win over Hoover Tuesday night.
Sarah Hindman picked up the win in the circle as she tossed a complete game. Hindman gave up just one run on five hits.
The HT offense got off to a quick start scoring two runs in the first inning.
Jenna Lord grounded out to drive in a run. Next,
Crystal Maze singled to center to score
Kenleigh Cahalan. The Huskies would add to their lead in the fourth inning as Cahalan blasted a two-run homer. Cahalan ended the night 2-3 at the plate with three RBI's.
Anyce Harvey was 4-4 at the plate and drove in a run.
Hannah Dorsett was 2-4 and scored three times.Â
