Hewitt-Trussville Girls Basketball allowed just nine second half points on Saturday as they pulled away from Dothan for a 61-27 win. The Huskies led by just three points at halftime, but outscored the Wolves 14-3 in the 3rd quarter.
D'yona Jones made eight baskets on the night on her way to a game-high 17 points.
Jordan Hunter finished with 14 points, including 11 points in the second half. Audre Benson scored nine points and
Abbie Kate Monski added seven points.
The Huskies (4-2 overall) will be back in action on Monday as they travel to Wenonah.
