6A #1Hewitt-Trussville Volleyball defeated Mountain Brook 3-1 on Thursday night inside Bryant Bank Arena. The Huskies dropped the first set 28-26 but rallied to win the next three sets. HT is now 11-3 overall on the season.
 
Loren Purnell had 16 kills, four digs, and a block. Johnna Cox added 14 kills, 15 digs, and two assists. Kayleigh Nguyen posted a team-high 30 assists to go along with nine kills, 12 digs, and two aces. Christiana Callens led all players with 35 digs. Callens also had four assists and an ace. Presley Hull had 12 digs and two assists.
 
The Huskies will be back home on Tuesday night when they host Thompson.
