Five Huskies Named to AHSAA All-Star Teams
A total of five Hewitt-Trussville spring sport athletes have been selected to compete in the AHSAA All-Star Games July 20-24 in Montgomery.
Jace Riggan will compete for the North All-Star Baseball team. Riggan and his teammates recently defeated Auburn to win the 7A Baseball State Championship.
Presley Hull will represent HT Softball in the All-Star game. Hull and her teammates won six games at the State Tournament to capture the championship last week.
Jonah Turner earned a spot in the Golf All-Star event after playing in the #1 position for the Huskies this season.
Carter Jordan will play in the Tennis all-star event. Jordan played the #1 position for the HT Tennis team this season.
Catherine Mize will represent HT Girls Soccer in the all-star event. Mize and her teammates qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2014 this year.
