STATE CHAMPIONS. 

The Hewitt-Trussville Huskies are bringing home the Blue Map after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Thompson in the AHSAA 7A State Championship Game!

The Huskies led by head coach Taylor Burt took the lead early and battled through a pitcher's duel before scoring the go-ahead run in the fifth inning. Harper Looney went the distance in the circle, allowing just one unearned run in a complete-game performance. Looney came back this morning and got the last out of the game in just three pitches. 

This team showed grit, heart, and determination all season long, and now they are the State Champions.
