STATE CHAMPIONSHIP BOUND 

Hewitt-Trussville Softball is headed to the AHSAA 7A State Championship Series after a dominant 14-4 win over Vestavia Hills today!

The Huskies exploded for 10 runs in the sixth inning to pull away, led by Erin Coleman's four RBIs. Hannah Claire Miller, Presley Hull, Emily Renda, Taylor McLaughlin, and Kylie Grace Hendrick all contributed big hits in the offensive surge. Harper Looney earned the win in the circle as Hewitt collected 16 hits and played error-free defense.

Now it's on to the championship round as the Huskies face Thompson in Game 1 tonight at 7:00 PM. Huskies need to win two tonight. Let's go, Huskies!
