Led by Head Coach Jeff Mauldin, the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies are bringing home the Blue Map!

Hewitt-Trussville defeated Auburn 8-0 on Friday at Rudy Abbott Field to claim the AHSAA 7A State Championship. The Huskies combined dominant pitching, timely hitting, and flawless defense to complete the shutout victory.

Cale McIntosh was outstanding on the mound, striking out nine over 6.2 innings, while Rylan Clark closed the door to secure the championship. Offensively, Jace Riggan led the way with three hits, while Hudson Mitchell, Koal Duckett, and Blake Bales helped fuel the 11-hit performance.

This team showed toughness, grit, and heart all season long, finishing the season 33-9. Now they are STATE CHAMPIONS!
