The Hewitt-Trussville Boys Golf team finished in 1st place out of 15 teams at the Coosa River Invitational this week. The event was a 36-hole tournament held Monday and Tuesday.  

The Huskies finished six shots ahead of the second-place team. HT improved by 10 shots on day two of the event. Jonah Turner shot 75-75 to place 3rd individually. Tyler Prickett also earned a place on the All-Tournament team tying for 5th overall with rounds of 77-76.   Colten Sutton had the low score on day two for the Huskies firing a 74. Callan Regan was 12thoverall and had the second lowest score for the Huskies on day one. Jake Kendrick had a counting score on day one.
