HT Girls Golf Opens 2026 Season in Auburn

The Hewitt-Trussville Girls Golf team opened the 2026 season on Thursday in Auburn, competing against a field of 22 teams. The Huskies finished 8th overall in the team standings.

Merritt Daniel led the Huskies with an outstanding round of 72, earning a 2nd place finish in the individual standings. Lola Mitros, Caroline Franklin, and Abbey Allen also had strong performances and recorded several great holes in their first Hewitt-Trussville tournament.

The Huskies will return to action on Wednesday as they travel to Vestavia for a dual match.
