The Hewitt-Trussville Boys Basketball team defeated Oak Mountain 64-48 on Friday night in the opening 7A Area 6 game of the year. The Huskies are now 14-7 overall on the season. A strong 4th quarter secured the win.

Dalton Black scored 11 points in the first half and finished the game with 17 points. Tyler Wilson had three baskets in the final period and ended up with 14 points. Rashad Rolley had 11 points in the second half and finished with 13 points.

The Huskies will be back inside Bryant Bank Arena on Tuesday night for an Area game against Vestavia.
