Hewitt-Trussville Baseball improved to 23-5 overall and 1-0 in 7A Area 6 with a 6-1 road win over Chelsea Wednesday night. The Huskies trailed 1-0 going into the 6th inning, but rallied to score six runs in the inning.
Brett Moseley scored on a passed ball to tie the game.
Cam Simpson laid down a perfect bunt to score
Carson Wideman to give HT the lead.
Christian Helmers then drove in a run to extend the lead.
Dylan Lewkutz was the winning pitcher as he tossed a complete game and struck out eight batters.
Christian Helmers had three hits and a RBI.
Steele Hall,
Cam Simpson,
Brett Moseley, and
Rob Wright all drove in a run.
Colby Durden and
Sam Scarborough both had a hit.
