The Hewitt-Trussville Boys Tennis team defeated Hoover 6-3 in the final regular season match of the season. The Huskies enter postseason play with a 18-2 overall record and finished with a 6-1 record in 7A Section 3 play.

The top three seeds for the Huskies won in singles play. Nolan Armstrong won 8-4 at #1. In the #2 singles match, Carter Jordan won 8-3. Griffin Greenhaw won 8-6 at #3 as well. Kyle Jones won his match 8-5 to give the Huskies a 4-2 lead entering doubles play. Nolan Armstrong/Griffin Greenhaw and Kyle Jones/Carter Jordan won doubles matches.

The Huskies will travel to Hoover Monday and Tuesday for the 7A Section 3 Tournament. The top two teams will advance to the AHSAA State Tournament in Mobile.
