The HT Girls Basketball team captured the Sand Mountain Park Holiday Classic title on Thursday in Albertville. The Huskies went undefeated during the event and are now 15-4 overall on the season. The Huskies will host Gadsden City on January 2 before starting Area play at Chelsea on January 5.

The Huskies led 40-7 at halftime on Wednesday and cruised to victory.
Jordan Hunter made nine shots from the field and finished with a game-high 21 points.
Ryleigh Martin made three shots from behind the arc and finished with 15 points.
Ashlyn Howard added 11 points and pulled down 15 rebounds.

HT 62 Grace Christian Academy (TN) 36
The Huskies won the tournament title on Thursday with a strong performance. HT scored 20 points in the opening quarter to take a nine point lead.
Jordan Hunter had 19 points and dished out four assists.
Ashlyn Howard collected another double-double as she scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Ryleigh Martin made a pair of three-point shots and finished with 10 points.
