Riley Quick threw his second consecutive no-hitter as Hewitt-Trussville defeated Thompson 10-0 on Monday night. Quick tossed his first no-hitter of the season last week in a win over Mortimer Jordan, and was dominant again on Monday. Quick pitched five innings and struck out eight batters.
Jack Ollis tripled and scored in the first inning to give the Huskies the lead. HT put the game away in the 4th inning as they plated six runs to extend the lead to 8-0.
The Huskies hit a pair of home runs Monday as
Matt Miller and Brooks McRae both went deep.
Ethan Duhon had two hits and two RBI's. Quick added a hit and a RBI.
