HT Girls Tennis moved to 4-1 overall and 1-0 in 7A Section 3 play with a 8-1 win over Oak Mountain on Wednesday. The match was played at Heardmont Park. The Huskies dominated singles play winning five of the six matches.
Yasmin Fisher won 8-2 in the #2 singles match. AnnaBeth Hill (#3 singles) and
Anna Blake (#4 singles) also won their matches 8-2.
Talia Talley won a tight match 9-7 at #5 singles.
Riley Edwards won 8-6 at #6 singles.
The Huskies swept doubles play as
Isabella Hall and AnnaBeth Hill won 8-4 in #1 doubles.
Yasmin Fisher and
Anna Blake won 8-1 in #2 doubles, and
Talia Talley and Sarah Kate Smith win 8-3 in #3 doubles.
The Huskies will compete in another section match on Tuesday when they travel to Gadsden City.
