The Huskies are perfect halfway through 7A Area 6 play. On Friday, HT defeated Gadsden City 64-37. Coach Tonya Hunter's team is now 19-3 overall and 3-0 in 7A Area 6 competition.

Four Huskies finished in double figures in the win over Gadsden City. Audre Benson led the way with 15 points. Benson also added seven rebounds and three assists. Jordan Hunter had 14 points and four assists. April Hooks made seven foul shots and also ended with 14 points. D'yona Jones had 13 points and nine rebounds. 

The Huskies will travel east to Atlanta on Saturday for a matchup with Lovejoy (GA). HT will be back into Area play next Friday night when they host Vestavia.
