Hewitt-Trussville Football will open the 2021 season on Friday night when they host Pinson Valley. The Huskies are ranked 4th in the 7A preseason poll. The Indians won the 2020 6A state title and are ranked 1st in the 6A preseason poll.

Friday's game will mark the 32nd all-time meeting between the two schools. Hewitt-Trussville leads the all-time series 24-7. The Huskies won the most recent meeting in 2020 by the score of 44-19.
