This year marks the 27th year of being the head Girls' Cross Country Coach at Hewitt, coaching with my husband, David. I also was the head Girls' Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Coach for 17 years. I am proud to be associated with a program that works with athletes on athletic and academic levels. After teaching middle school math for 33 years, I retired. Those years were spent teaching in different schools, but ending with 24 years at Hewitt-Trussville Middle School. Now I enjoy spending time with my granddaughter and family, baking & cooking, and traveling. David and I have been married 37 years and have two daughters (Catie and Amanda), a son-in-law (Andrew), and a granddaughter (Anderson).
