Dylan Haraway is entering his 8th season at Hewitt-Trussville. During his tenure as a Husky, Dylan coached the Defensive Line for three years and currently serves as the Special Teams Coordinator and Linebackers coach. Dylan has had nine players at his position go on to play at the collegiate level and has coached 11 Alabama 7A all state selections in seven years. Haraway's players have also been selected as Under Armour All-Americans, Alabama-Mississippi all-stars, and North-South all-stars. Haraway is also the football team's Academic Coordinator. In this role, he helps recognize high-achieving student-athletes, ensures players are eligible for AHSAA and NCAA competition, and assists students in need. Before coming to Hewitt-Trussville, Haraway was a Defensive Analyst at Samford University, and before his time at Samford, he played football at Georgetown College from 2014 to 2017.
Dylan and his wife of four years, Hayden, live in Trussville and attend First Baptist Church. They have a one-year-old son, Mills. Dylan holds an Education Specialist degree in School Administration and his wife is a Doctor of Nursing Practice; CRNA.
