The Hewitt-Trussville Girls Basketball team improved to 15-10 overall and 3-2 in 7A Area 6 play with a 56-39 win over Vestavia. The Huskies got off to a quick start and led by as much as 25 points in the final quarter. Ryleigh Martin scored 17 points to lead all scorers. Caycee Burton poured in 14 points and Lauryn Holley added 12 points.

The Huskies will be at home on Friday as they host Hoover in the final regular season Area game.
