The Hewitt-Trussville Baseball team went a perfect 3-0 on opening weekend. 

HT 5 Helena 2
Jacon Francis pitched five innings and Hudson Mitchell got the final six outs. Steele Hall, Cooper Huffman, Cam Simpson, Christian Helmers, and Jonah Jackson all recorded hits.

HT 6 Oxford 2
Christian Helmers allowed just two hits as he pitched into the 7th inning. Steele Hall had two hits including a home run. Koal Duckett scored twice and Cooper Huffman knocked in a pair of runs. 

HT 10 Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa 8
Blake Bales pitched five innings in relief to pick up the win. The Huskies got off to a quick start scoring six runs in the 1st inning and two runs in the 2nd inning. Christian Helmers had three hits and drove in three runs. Steele Hall, Cale McIntosh, and Cam Simpson all had two hits each.

The Huskies will travel to Pelham on Thursday.
