Hewitt-Trussville Athletics: Postseason and Tip-Off Week

It's a big week for Hewitt-Trussville Athletics as several teams compete in postseason play, basketball season officially tips off, and bowling continues its schedule.

Postseason Action

• Varsity Girls Flag Football begins playoff action Tuesday at 6:00 PM at home vs. Sparkman.

• Varsity Football opens the first round of the playoffs Friday at 7:00 PM at home vs. Opelika.

• Varsity Girls and Boys Cross Country will compete in the AHSAA 7A State Meet on Saturday in Oakville.

Other Events This Week

• Bowling teams are in action throughout the week, including a Thursday match vs. Clay-Chalkville at Sparetime.

• Basketball season tips off with middle school, JV, and varsity teams competing at home and on the road.
