The Hewitt-Trussville Boys Basketball team trailed 31-30 at halftime to Hayden on Thursday night, but rallied to score 45 points in the second half to claim a 75-49 win. The Huskies are now 16-4 overall on the season and have won six games in a row. HT captured the tournament title in the North Bay Academy Christmas Tournament over the break.
Rashad Rolley led the scoring attack as he netted 23 points.
Colt Wells scored 11 points in the second half and finished the game with 13 points.
Ben Warren made a trio of three-point baskets and finished with 11 points. A total of 10 Huskies scored in the game.
HT will open 7A Area 6 play on Friday night at Hoover.Â
