Hewitt-Trussville Baseball traveled to Baton Rouge this week for a trio of games. The Huskies defeated Saint Pauls (LA) 10-2 on Thursday night to open the trip. HT is now 4-0 overall on the season.
Christian Helmers picked up the win on the mound as he allowed just one run on three hits in six innings. Helmers struck out 10 batters.
Brett Moseley had two hits and drove in a pair of runs.
Steele Hall had a double and a triple.
Carson Wideman had two hits including a triple.
Cam Simpson had two hits and
Drew Ollis drove in a pair of runs.
The Huskies will return to action on Saturday with games against Dutchtown (LA) and St. Amant (LA).
