The Hewitt-Trussville Boys Basketball team moved to 16-6 overall on the season and 2-0 in 7A Area 6 play with a 68-57 win over Oak Mountain Tuesday night. The Huskies led by seven points at halftime, but the Eagles quickly tied the game. A late 3rd quarter jumper by
Jathan Fulmer gave the Huskies a two point lead entering the final quarter. The Huskies outscored the Eagles by nine points in the final quarter.
Ben Warren was on fire throughout the game from behind the arc. Warren finished the game with 30 points.
Reid Stodghill added 14 points.
Colt Wells made several key baskets in the final period and finished with nine points.
Rashad Rolley chipped in eight points.
The Huskies will host Spain Park on Friday night in a key 7A Area 6 game. Tipoff is set for 7pm.
