Hewitt-Trussville Volleyball improved to 6-4 overall on the season with a pair of wins on Tuesday night. In the first match against Springville, the Huskies won in straight sets by the scores of 25-8 and 25-13.
AC Monski had nine digs and
AC Bennett added four aces.
Madelyn Bromley had five kills and a block while
Kennedy Vincent added five kills and three blocks.
In the second match, Hewitt-Trussville downed Mortimer Jordan by the scores of 25-12 and 25-16.
Madelyn Bromley had 12 kills.
Jillian Schrecongost had seven kills and two blocks.
AC Monski (11) and
AC Bennett (9) combined for 20 digs.
The Huskies will open 7A Area 6 play on Thursday when they travel to Oak Mountain. The varsity match is scheduled to begin at 6:30pm and will be live on the NFHS Network.
