It was a tale of two halves on Friday night at Spain Park. The Hewitt-Trussville Boys Soccer team trailed 1-0 at halftime in the key 7A Area 6 match. The Huskies notched three second half goals to secure the 3-1 win. HT is now 10-2-1 overall on the season and 2-0 in 7A Area 6. The Huskies are currently in first place in the Area.

Parker Briggs tied the game with a goal off an assist from Jason Merriweather. Briggs then scored the go-ahead goal off a free kick. The Huskies put the game out of reach when Ethan Williamson assisted Jonathon Emmerich for the third goal. 

The Huskies will host Oak Mountain on Tuesday night in another Area game.
