Hewitt-Trussville and James Clemens will play game 3 on Saturday to decide the winner of the 7A quarterfinal series. The Jets took game 1 by the score of 6-5. Riley Quick hit a three-run home run in the first inning to give the Huskies a 3-0 lead. Brett Moseley and Jack Ollis scored in the second inning to extend the lead to 5-0. The Jets rallied for five runs in the final two innings to take the opening game.

HT responded in game two with a 3-0 win. Baker Green got the win as he pitched a complete game. Green only gave up two hits and struck out 12 batters. Kurt Kizer and Riley Quick had first inning RBI's to give the Huskies a 2-0 lead. Baker Green added a sacrifice fly in the 5th inning.
