Coach Marcus Thomas' Boys Basketball team won its fourth straight game on Friday night as they defeated Huntsville 65-46. With the win, the Huskies improved to 12-3 overall on the year and 3-0 in 7A Area 7.

Huntsville got off to a quick start and led by seven points in the opening quarter. The Huskies battled back to take a 15-11 lead as the first quarter buzzer sounded. The second quarter was hard-fought and low scoring. Hewitt hit some key free throws to take a 22-18 lead into the locker room.

The Huskies offense took the game over in the third quarter. Coach Thomas' team shared the ball well and scored 19 points in the quarter. Malachi Moore hit a long three-pointer at the buzzer to give his team a 41-24 lead. Hewitt played a solid fourth quarter to pick up the win. Damon Harper scored a game high 21 points. Jaxon Hunter also had a good night as he added 11 points.

Coach Thomas was pleased with the effort the team gave. "The guys are showing that they really enjoy playing for each other. No one person is elevated. It is a true brotherhood."
