GIRLS BASKETBALL WINS ON THE ROAD
Friday night the fifth-ranked Hewitt-Trussville Girls Basketball team hit the road to take on the Oak Mountain Eagles. The Huskies controlled the game throughout and won 66-51. With the win the Huskies improved to 8-1 for the year.

Leah Harrison led the team as she scored a game high 29 points. Christina Till also scored in double figures for Coach Tonya Hunter's team as she added 10 points.

The Huskies have a big week ahead. The team will host Vestavia on December 5 at 6pm. On Friday December 8, Hewitt will host Gadsden City in the first area game of the season.
