COUNTY EVENT

The Huskies were led by Thomas Wolfe who won the event individually. The Huskies had four athletes place in the top seven in the 180 athlete field. Carson Spruiell placed second, Aaron Himes came in third, and Josh Jenkins finished seventh.

Coach Davis Dobbs was proud of the team after the race. "The boys ran great this weekend but are still not at 100%. I am very proud of the way the freshmen ran in either the freshmen race or the 5k. The young guys are learning how to race. We go north this coming weekend and race on our sectional course and face sectional competition. This will be a major test for the team."

Next week the Huskies travel to Huntsville to compete in the Twilight Panther Prowl. Fans can follow the action at www.alabamarunners.com. Keep track of all Husky Cross Country news at www.hthuskies.com.
